I wanted to share my experience with the Amby Bed. My son Gunnar was born with a condition called cranial synostosis. This means that he was born with part of his skull fused which gave him a very odd head shape (from the top it looked like a football) This made it very hard for him to sleep.
I tried everything…sleeping in his car seat, in my arms, surrounded by pillows, cutting out part of his mattress…nothing worked. He would only sleep about 1.5 hours. You can imagine that we were both very exhausted!
When he was 9 weeks old I found the amby bed online and ordered it. It was a miracle!!! He slept 4 hours immediately after putting him in the bed and soon after he was sleeping 8 hours at night…it was heaven!! He slept there until he was almost 8 months old and then started to try to climb out so he graduated to a crib. By that time he had had his surgery so his head shape was corrected. He is now 3 years old and has slept through the night everynight since he was 4 months old.
I now have a daughter Lucy who is 9 weeks old. She is sleeping in the Amby now and just last night slept 10.5 hours in a row! Pretty impressive from a breast fed newborn. I am attaching pictures of each of them sleeping away in their Amby Bed. I tell everyone about the Amby and encourage them all to use it…best investment I ever made. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

I recently just purchased an Amby and I just wanted to say my baby Loves it… He is one month old and can sleep in the Amby for days. Not only does in sleep good in the Amby but he also likes to just lay in it while he is awake and swing back and forth… He is only 9lbs now but when he does pass the 25lb mark I will definitely have to purchase the 40lb pound spring.
My son is now 3 weeks old and has slept in his Amby since the night we brought him home from the hospital.
I just wanted to say thank you for having such a wonderful product. My son Ashur who is now 3 1/2 months old has never been a very good napper. He fought through the day half asleep half awake and just seemed mostly miserable because of it. We tried everything, a bouncy seat, an incline sleep “nest” and used so many batteries for his swing, I started to think we just needed to find a way to plug it in!
She is now big enough to use the jumper and loves it too. It is so easy to change the Amby from bed to jumper.
We have now been blessed with our second child. Baby Nils was born in October and from his first night home has been sleeping in the Amby. Nils sleeps in three hour increments after nursing and he is now trending on four hours within the first 6 weeks. We have found that the key to this product is to use it from day one — and use it every night until the baby grows out of the product which is usually between 9-12 months. By this time, most of the critical sleeping and developmental issues have passed.
