My daughter became a new mom at the age of 20. Baby Christopher aka C.J. had sleeping problems from day one. Most of the time C.J. slept in a bouncy seat with the bathroom fan running for the noise. My daughter was trying to stay in college but could not keep up with her studies because her newborn would not sleep more than 30 minutes. During the night he would sleep around an hour or two. Her husband has a sleep disorder and could not wake up during the night no matter how hard he tried. It did not take long for the family to feel overwhelmed. I stumbled across your website looking for baby things, read the article and brought it home to convince my husband (Papaw) he needed to buy this for our grandbaby. He said yes and the rest is history. The first day we put C.J. in the Amby bed he immediately started sleeping in longer intervels. At first we had to give him back his pacifer and swing the bed a little but gradually he stopped waking up as much. In the end he went to sleep at 7:30 pm and woke up once during the night but after a bottle he went back in his Amby bed and slept until 7:00 am. C.J. is now nine months old and my daughter just put him in his crib. He had no trouble with the transition. He is able to fall asleep by himself. I tell everyone I know, new parents, grandparents and anyone that knows of a baby having sleeping problems. I hope I have more grandbabies and never want anything but the Amby Bed for them!
